National Rifle Association Basic Pistol Course



The National Rifle Association Basic Pistol Course is an excellent recreational shooting course. Individuals wishing to attend  pistol competitions and informal shooting will benefit from this thorough course.  This is not a course for self-defense. The context of the course is for recreational shooting. Reacting to criminal attack and legal aspects are not covered. This is a program for fun shooting activities and a good introduction to firearms.

  5. The Six Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting

  8. Adjusting the Sights
  9. Overview of Shooting Sports
  10. Local Club Information

Students will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination and receive a coursecompletio
